We're all moved in and starting our second year back in Maryland. I'm playing in two different bands: I play bass in a Monkees tribute group called The Stepping Stones, and I play lead guitar and sax in a classic rock group known as Pandora's Box. The Monkees band is the more interesting, conceptually. I never knew they recorded so many great songs. It's been an education, plus this is the first band in which I've been a full-time bass player, so I'm learning new things about the bass, too.

Pandora's Box is a great bunch of guys, and this is educational, too, since it's the first time since 1978 since I held down the lead guitar position. Lead guitar is hard, because you need to be able to go smoothly from rhythmic background playing into soloing, right on cue. Plus you have to be able to kind of mimic other guitar players. I think once this group is gigging regularly, I'll finally be able to call myself a guitarist, without fear of contradiction. And of course I'm such a freakin' awesome sax player that i don't even bother rehearsing! LOL

Also...Finishing up an illustrated children's book and a softporn comic book. How's that for a double play! What else, nowwww...

Mmm, can't think of anything.

This ol' boy's been around, from Baltimore to DC, to London and France, Wales and Cornwall and Iceland, Orlando FLA and San Jose CA, New Yawk City and Poughkeepsie, Tujunga, North Hollywood, Boston Mass and Tokyo, too. I've done animation and illustration for Disney, Blue Sky, Curious Pictures, MTV, HBO, Saturday Night Live, R. Greenberg, Saatchi & Saatchi, Scholastic Publications, Nickelodeon, DC Comics, and more. I just moved back to my home state of Maryland after wandering the world for over twenty years.

I love to play blues and rock on guitar and sax. I like Drive-By Truckers, John Hiatt, Steve Earle, The Beatles, The Strokes, Johnny Cash, Lerner and Lowe, Charles Aznavour, Henry Mancini, Bernard Herrman, Danny Elfman, Reckless Kelly, Nick Lowe, The Subdudes, BBKing, Bobby Keyes, John Coltrane...i could go on and on.

I like reading...fiction and non-fiction, fantasy, horror, general. I like to read political stuff with a liberal slant. I know so many conservatives that i like that i often wonder how i can hate their politics so much!

If i weren't generally opposed to celebrity worship, these would be my gods: Charles Schulz, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, Jack Davis, Bill Elder, Wally Wood, Stephen King, PoJu, Stanley Kubrick, Sergio Leone, Francis Ford Coppola, Peter O'Toole, Jackson Pollack, Matt Groening, Alan Moore, Neil Young, The Beatles, Ray and Dave Davies, W.B. Yeats, Eric Clapton, Michael Moore, Ralph Nader, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Ray Bradbury...(more to come)

Actual Gods: Leonardo DaVinci, Caravaggio, Salvador Dali, Edgar Allen Poe, JRR Tolkien, Tex Avery, Chuck Jones, Jack Kirby

Candidate for Godhood: Barack Obama

I'll add more as it comes to me...
